Excellent spot to indulge in some delicious Italian cuisine. It doesn't matter what you order here, because it will be great no matter what. The food portions are pretty big, and the prices are something to take advantage of. If you're hungry for some Italian food on James Island, Mondo's is the place to go. Do be aware that the restaurant gets packed within 30 minutes of it opening usually, so plan accordingly. They do have an outdoor bar if you'd like to have a couple of drinks while you wait for your table. The smaller dining space is necessary due to their small kitchen. Apart from that, I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner and for any occasion.

Delicious Italian food! I loved the veal, pasta, sauce, meatballs and wine. It's difficult to find good Italian in Charleston and this place has found a way to do it. I will happily be back, it's worth the wait.

Came here on a whim when we got to Charleston, not expecting the restaurant to be packed to the brim at 7:30! The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced with generous portions, and the service was amazing as well. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here if you’re craving Italian in Charleston.
